Welcome to GradeGenius. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the GradeGenius platform by learners, parents or guardians, teachers, schools, and other authorised users.
By accessing or using the GradeGenius platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.
For the purposes of these Terms:
Users agree to use GradeGenius for educational purposes only, in a lawful and responsible manner, and in accordance with school policies and applicable laws.

Teachers are responsible for the accuracy and relevance of learning material and assessments uploaded to the platform.
GradeGenius provides tools for content delivery and analytics but does not replace professional teaching or school evaluation. Quiz and test results are intended as academic support tools and may not represent final academic outcomes.
GradeGenius provides performance analytics and progress tracking to support learning and early academic intervention. While every effort is made to ensure accuracy, analytics should be used as guidance and not as the sole basis for academic decisions.
All intellectual property rights related to the platform, including software, design, dashboards, analytics tools, and system features, belong to GradeGenius or its licensors. Users may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or exploit any part of the platform without prior written permission.
Teacher-uploaded content remains the property of the school or educator but is licensed to GradeGenius for use within the platform.
GradeGenius allows educators and schools to upload learning material. GradeGenius does not independently verify ownership or licensing of all uploaded content and is not responsible for any material uploaded without proper authorisation. Responsibility complies with the uploading educator or institution.
All personal and academic information is handled in accordance with the GradeGenius Privacy Policy and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
By using the platform, users consent to the processing of information necessary to provide educational services.
GradeGenius reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms, misuse of the platform, or where required by law. Termination may occur without prior notice in serious cases.
11. Service Availability: GradeGenius strives to ensure reliable access but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The platform may be updated, modified, or temporarily unavailable due to maintenance or technical issues.
GradeGenius provides the platform “as is” for educational support purposes. While reasonable care is taken, GradeGenius is not responsible for:
14. Indemnity: Users agree to indemnify and hold GradeGenius harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from misuse of the platform or violation of these Terms.
Governing Law: These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
Changes to Terms: GradeGenius may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on the platform, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
